It’s been almost 2 years since I read the first book (Draw) in this series about the Gentry boys, and probably one of the most memorable enemies to lovers stories I’ve ever read. As each new book was released for Creed, Chase, and Deck, I quickly devoured them, as I couldn’t get enough of this gritty group of characters.

Reading HOLD was like re-visiting with old friends, but beyond that, it was like the ultimate epilogue to what happens AFTER happily ever after.

“Real life isn’t a perpetual series of grand gestures. It’s messy. And often uneven. But at the end of the day it’s the accidental, imperfect moments that will stand out.”

Told in all 3 of the Gentry triplets’ POV, we see that the journey hasn’t ended for Cord & Saylor, Creed & Truly, and Chase & Stephanie. There are old wounds to heal and new beginnings for these couples, in all shapes and forms.

Each couple is still as sexy as ever, and while each Gentry brother is building a life and family of his own, they always come together as the closest, hottest set of brothers in Tempe, Arizona! I didn’t realize how much I missed these characters until reading this book.

This book also introduces us to a new generation of Gentrys. Stone and Conway Gentry are introduced in this book, and I’m ready to devour their story in CROSS next!

This was a great book that gave us a chance to catch up with The Gentry Brothers and their Cousin Dek .. It was great to see Cord, Creed, and Chase as they continue to be strong Alpha Males and make a life for themselves and the ones they love, while learning to move on and bury the past. There were some critical elements to this story that helped bring the boys full circle and give them closure, also introduced and let us readers get to know some of the future Gentry's that I am sure we will be reading about soon.

A great "wrap" up story to the original Gentry boys and an excellent introduction into the next stories to come, which will hopefully allow us to see more of Cord, Creed, and Chase as they continue moving forward in life.

Cora Brant has a great writing style and she has kept these stories flowing flawlessly ~ I can't wait to see what comes next.

So following the end of book four the Gentry guys are settling into their new lives. With the help of Declan, their cousin, aka big brother, Cord operates a tattoo parlor; he and Saylor are married with twin girls. Creed and Truly are together; while he works at his music and Chase and Stephanie are living together; he's a new teacher.

When the guys receive news that their teen cousins Conway and Stone are in trouble in Emblem, the are all over it. Remembering how Declan looked out for them. They are still close and all for one, one for all and that will never change. There are a lot of family trials in the book but the story is very real and you become enthralled in the lives. Another winner!
Wow, this story was heartbreaking....

I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I one-clicked this one. I thought all the demons these boys held were long gone now that they'd gotten the loves of their lives. And while they continue to be amazing husbands/fiances/and daddies, their wives/girlfriends/mommies are still just as amazing as they always have been, we get to see Cord as a daddy, Creed turn into one through another heartbreaking story and Chase beat all the adds from his book and get his HEA as well....

An unexpected yet expected tragedy leads them back to Emblem.... I loved getting to see the POV from all three boys, getting to meet Stone and Conway, which I can not wait to hear their stories because I know they're gonna gut me just as bad if not worse than the others did. I felt so bad for Con and can't imagine the life he's gonna have to lead now without the two most important people to him.... I know Stone had to have reasons for why he did what he did so I can't hate on him just yet. I'm just looking forward to getting to know them both.

I was also pleasantly surprised by finding out what happened to their dad. Although he met a gruesome end to his crap life, and it should be disturbing that I found joy in how he ultimately rid this earth, I'm just glad the boys have peace now and can move on from the crap that the brought to them their whole lives.

It's crazy to see how someone can get so invested in fictional characters lol I'm pretty sure it borderlines unhealthy for me to get so worked up on fake people, but I absolutely loved this series, I love the family and who these boys turned out to be. I'm proud of them and love it for them... I just can't wait to read more!
